In most cases we remove and rebuild — pavers over concrete traps water, cracks the slab through, and voids the paver warranty. On rare occasions where the slab is structurally sound and drainage can be resolved, an overlay is possible. We give you the honest read on-site.

Most Cambridge, Techo-Bloc, Nicolock, and Unilock pool-deck pavers have textured or shot-blast finishes rated for wet feet. We steer clients toward specific pool-safe lines (Techo-Bloc Blu 60, Cambridge Ledgestone, Nicolock Sea Isle) and away from smooth or polished finishes for pool surrounds.

Polymeric sand is a joint-fill sand mixed with a polymer binder. Once swept in and activated with water, it hardens into a flexible lock that resists weeds, ants, wash-out, and joint movement. It's the difference between a patio that stays tight for 15 years and one that grows weeds by year two.

Rinse and light broom-sweep is enough for most seasons. Every 3–5 years we recommend a wash, re-sand of any lost joints, and a fresh seal coat if you sealed originally. We offer maintenance visits on patios we've installed.
