Cut-out full-depth patching and hot-mix skin patches for potholes, sunken areas, and utility cuts. Compacted to density — not shoveled cold-patch that pops out in a season.

A properly cut, squared, and compacted patch lasts for years. Throw-and-go cold patch does not — we do the former.

Will the patch match the rest of the driveway?

New asphalt is darker at first and blends closer within a season.

Can you patch in winter?

We do emergency cold-patch repairs year-round and schedule permanent hot-mix work for the paving season.

If the base is sound, overlay. If the base has failed (heaves, alligator cracking everywhere), replace.

Life of an overlay?

10–15 years when done over a sound base with proper prep.

Repair or replace?

If the base is intact and the cracking is surface-level, resurfacing gives you 10+ more years at a fraction of the cost. Alligator cracking and potholes usually mean base failure.

How thick is an overlay?

Typically 1.5–2" of new top course after leveling low spots.

How long does resurfacing take?

Most residential resurfacing is one day on site.
